now we are already three weeks in india. when we arrived here, we were thinking about hitting the road by ourselves and exploring india and its people on a shoestring. all we forgot about, this was india! so we were only walking for one hour by ourselves, then we could be found sitting in a travel agency where we have been delivered to. now we are exploring india with our private driver...
first we have been to
northern himalaya, where we stayed on the houseboat new dilshad for eight nights. staying with bashir (the manager), rafiq (the cook) and ransam (the waiter) was very nice and we were treated like kings. we also did some awesome trekking and explored the lakes and its people by boat. we liked it very much up there and are looking forward to visit this place again.
now we are on a roundtrip at
rajasthan. raju, our driver, has us already taken to historical and well-known sites like bikaner, jaisalmer, jodhpur, ranakpur and today udaipur. i'll tell you more detailed information very soon - just give me sometime to get used to english writing again.
